Goals for this week were displaced by the urgent UI proposal work.
Goals for next week:
- Next week I will continue working on the urgent UI proposal work.
Upcoming Time Off:
- I am planning to go to the W3C conference at the end of February (not quite time off, but I'll be away).
Group Issues:
- The following areas
are currently without QA: HTML (possibly the most important part of
a web browser), Tables (both HTML and CSS, a major part of the web
as most web pages use tables for layout), DOM Core, and DOM HTML
(the two most important parts of DHTML). In addition we are also
currently unable to deal efficiently with incoming Layout, Parser,
Views and Compositor bugs (together, layout bug triage) because we
don't have enough people to work on these areas. Since last week,
our head count has reduced, not increased. Now more than ever, I
don't think we can safely assure the quality of the project on our
current (or projected) head count. The result of this,
namely work overload, is further reducing the productivity of our
team. I am concerned about this depressing situation.
Individual Concerns:
- My hands are occasionally giving me pain, so I tried out various keyboards that are in use in CPD. If I find a keyboard that alleviates
my pain, I will put in a request.
The Personals!
- I must still update the monopoly web page...
- Oh, and I must also get a clue (buying one didn't help).
