  • Caught up with backlog of bugzilla mail from nsbeta2 testing time.
  • Worked closely with engineers to solve high profile bugs.
• Testing Documentation Development, Reviews and Updates
  • No significant documentation development.
• Testcase Development, Reviews and Updates
  • Planned absolute positioning testcases. Will be creating most on Friday.
• Testing Conducted
  • No significant test coverage this week.
• New Bugs and Verifications
  • Filed 8 new bugs.
  • Reopened 4 bugs that failed verification.
  • Verified 2 bugs.
• Bug Management [new section]
  • Invalidated 17 bugs after careful examination.
  • Marked 3 bugs as WORKSFORME.
  • Recommended or marked 5 bugs as WONTFIX after studying the relevant issues.
  • Marked 12 bugs as duplicates of other bugs after careful searches and triaging.
  • Created 14 attachements in Bugzilla (13 testcases and 1 screenshot) after narrowing bugs.
  • Made a total of 170 bug modifications.
• Hot Bugs
  • no known P1 bugs in standards compliance
  • no known standards compliance bugs block nsbeta2 release
• Project Related Issues/Concerns/Successes
  • Expecting Linux machine to arrive soon. :-)
  • There are some CSS1 standard compliance bugs that have been Futured which I plan to escalate as even IE5 for Windows gets them right.
  • Spent many hours discussing some CSS bugs with Hyatt, Ben, Pierre, Marc and Waterson. These issues are now close to being resolved.

  • Going to Oslo to participate in CSS Working Group Face-to-Face conference.
